Focus is on learning alignment of basic yoga poses, awareness of the breath, meditation and relaxation. For students with little or no yoga experience or for those wishing to continue their yoga practice at a slower pace.
Students are familiar with basic yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques and wish to enhance their awareness while maintaining a gentle approach.
DEEPENING YOUR PRACTICE:
For students interested in cultivating their home practice, deepening their level of awareness and sensitivity for the methodoloy of yoga poses, breathing and meditation practices and beginning the study of yogic philosophy.
Restorative yoga is an opportunity to turn inwards in a very supported, nurturing environment. Poses are supported with blankets, blocks and other assorted props and held for an extended period of time. This practice facilitates the gentle and powerful release of physical, mental and emotional tensions.
The focus for this class is on exploring the subtle alignment of the body and then moving into a variety of yoga poses from this place of inquiry.
Designed for students who like to flow from yoga pose to yoga pose following the rhythm of breath.
YOGA FOR MEN :
For men only! This class is designed to address the unique physicality of men. Men often suffer from tightness - particularly in the hips, hamstrings and shoulders. This class will address those issues and much more.
